A True Culinary Talent
Food has always been a very important part of my life since childhood, it took me in the beginning to my uncle’s Italian restaurant in Northern England, this was weekend work only as I was still in school. When I became 19, I moved to London to further my career with my father who ran a very successful Italian restaurant in East London.
After a few years of working with my Father, I decided to branch off and focus on learning new skills and cuisines. The kitchens I honed my craft in were some of the best kitchens in the UK and Europe, to name a few there were the Fat Duck 3* Michelin, Sketch London 3* Michelin, Gordon Ramsay at the Connaught Hotel 1* Michelin.
I also went on to study Culinary & Patisserie Arts Degree at Newcastle upon Tyne UK. This period of study gave me the time and resources to create my style of cuisine, I focused on Modern molecular techniques. During my studies, I also was elected to represent the Institution in the regional and national NECTA culinary competitions, in which I came 3rd and 1st respectively.
My career also took me around the world in a private chef role. I have worked for several High-profile clients that were in UHNW bracket. This came with many new challenges that I thrived in, like finding ingredients in far-flung corners of the globe on either yacht or private estates.
This leads me now to run my own private chef business with my wife, I have developed a style of cuisine that can be used both in the home on a very intimate level and in a larger event situation. I have a unique way of creating dishes that respect the classic way and a super modern Avant-Garde fashion. I loved to create food experiences that not only taste amazing but are a work of art also, playing with the senses is important to me also, for example, I can make a beautiful cup of tea that is hot and cold at the same time upon drinking! I will bring whimsy and wonder to every dish.
I look forward to creating and designing dishes and menus for the various types of events that we specialize in, we excel in intimate in-house fine dining tasting menus, weddings, picnics, and corporate events also.
